During this consultation, Moriah conducts a comprehensive colour analysis by examining photos of the client taken in natural lighting. This ensures an accurate assessment of how daylight interacts with their complexion, providing a true-to-life evaluation of undertones. Additionally, a series of tailored questions are asked to gain deeper insight into the client’s skin undertones, contrast levels, and overall colouring.

Using advanced virtual draping techniques, Moriah systematically analyses the photos, testing a range of hues to determine which colours enhance natural features and which may overpower or wash them out. This process closely mirrors an in-person consultation, ensuring a precise and thorough evaluation of the client’s ideal colour palette.
In-person Colour Analysis

During an in-person consultation, Moriah conducts a detailed colour analysis to identify the shades that best enhance an individual’s natural features. The session begins with a discussion about personal style preferences and specific wardrobe goals. A series of key questions are asked to gain a deeper understanding of skin undertones, contrast levels, and overall colouring.
​The consultation then moves to the draping process, where specially designed colour drapes are placed around the client under natural lighting. This step allows for careful observation of how different hues interact with the skin, eyes, and hair, revealing which colours brighten and harmonise with the natural complexion and which may create an unbalanced or washed-out effect.
